“Multispecies Awareness Encounter”

A workshop developed by the Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry. The First Unitarian Society is fortunate to be chosen as one of three UU congregations that are pilot sites for this UU Animal Ministry workshop. Through film, stories, group exercises and discussion, the workshop is designed to deepen our understanding of multispecies relationships. The workshop begins with dinner and the movie, Amazing Grace, about British politician Wilber Wilburforce, who fought against slavery and founded the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

Dates: Friday and Saturday, April 27, 28
Times: Begins Friday at 6 p.m. with a light dinner and a movie, continues Saturday from 9-3 p.m.; lunch included Location: Frank Lloyd Wright Historic Landmark Auditorium
REDUCED FEE: $30 pledged/$40non-pledged (includes dinner and lunch)

All meals will be vegetarian and they will accommodate vegan requests. Call ahead.
